One thing I have come to understand is that most of us are not even close to our full potential! We all have amazing gifts, talents, dreams and aspirations and yet we still prefer to wallow in our pity parties with all the very familiar excuses not to make any changes.
As a coach I am continuously inviting my clients to let go of their excuses and move towards a life they love. Personally my challenge is to be willing to do this very thing each and every day. We all find ourselves falling back into old patterns and excuses but we don’t need to stay here. Make a new choice today!
Choice is what this journey of life is about. Continuously making a choice to dust ourselves off and start again each time with a little more humility and a lot more wisdom about living authentic lives.
Our Divine light is so bright but only by having the courage not to blame others we can step into our own brilliance. By doing so then we give permission to those around us to do the same.
What a glorious world if we could teach our children that to be good stewards of our earth they must first be free to shine bright with their gifts and talents. Wrap these with compassion, humility, service and great love for one another and wow endless possibilities can happen!.
Today I am writing down all the negative self talk that is going on in my mind and will choose to let them go today. Putting things down on paper can stir our soul into letting go of those thoughts and habits that no longer serve us. I invite you to journal this week and uncover more of your light! I will finish by the famous quote by Marianne Williamson
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
